1. Booking & payment

• A booking is confirmed once availability is agreed and we have acknowledged your reservation in writing (email or messaging).
• Unless we specify otherwise, payment is typically collected at check-in (hostel or tour meet point) in Ha Giang or as stated on your confirmation.
• Some departures or peak dates may require a deposit or prepayment; we will state amounts and due dates clearly before you commit.

2. Cancellation & refund

• Our detailed rules for payment, cancellation, rescheduling, and no-shows are set out in the Payment, cancellation & refund policy.
• Where force majeure or serious safety issues affect the route, we may adjust or cancel services; any refund or credit is handled case by case after deducting costs already incurred (transport, permits, accommodation, meals, etc.).

3. Itinerary changes

• Routes may change because of weather, road works, permits, or safety. Guides and operations may adjust timing, stops, or overnight locations.
• We prioritise guest safety and a fair experience; we will communicate significant changes when practical.

4. Health, safety & guest responsibility

• Motorbike and mountain-road travel is demanding. You confirm you are fit to ride or sit as a pillion for long days and variable conditions.
• Helmets and basic safety gear we provide must be used as directed. Follow instructions from guides and easy riders at all times.
• Ha Giang Lotus Group is not liable for injury, accident, illness, loss, or damage caused by guest negligence, alcohol or drug use, or failure to follow safety instructions.

5. Personal belongings

• You are responsible for valuables, documents, and electronics during the trip.
• Luggage storage at our properties or partners, when offered, is at your own risk unless mandatory local rules apply.

6. Insurance

Travel insurance that covers motorbiking or adventure activities, medical care, and evacuation is strongly recommended for all guests.

7. Privacy & personal data

We process personal data as described in our Privacy policy. We do not sell your data.

8. Photography & media

• Photos or video captured on group departures may be used in marketing. Tell us in advance if you do not wish your likeness to be used.

9. Website content

Text, images, itineraries, and branding on this site belong to Ha Giang Lotus Group or our licensors. Do not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without written permission.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Disputes shall be handled in accordance with Vietnamese law and competent courts where applicable.
