Insgesamt war es eine coole und besondere Erfahrung. Die Gruppe war angenehm gemischt (20 - 45 Jahre, Frauen/Männer, verschiedene Länder) – das hat uns sehr gut gefallen.
Ein paar Dinge sollte man jedoch wissen: Es gibt außer einem Helm keine weitere Schutzausrüstung, obwohl online „Motorcycle Safety Gear“ neben „Helmet“ angegeben ist. Die Helme sind keine Fullface-Helme und man muss Glück haben, dass einer passt. Regenausrüstung wird ebenfalls nicht gestellt. Unser erster Stopp war direkt ein Shop, wo man Regenkleidung kaufen konnte – bei zwei Tagen Regen für uns definitiv notwendig 🙂
Die Straßen sind sehr voll, viele Companies fahren dieselbe Route (teilweise sogar entgegengesetzt). Ohne gute Motorraderfahrung würden wir nicht empfehlen, selbst zu fahren.
Der „Local English Guide“ war eher 50/50 😉 Nur ein paar Fahrer sprachen etwas Englisch. Wir hätten gerne mehr über die Gegend erfahren – stattdessen gab es viele Kaffee-Stopps. Generell fährt man weniger als gedacht, oft wird nach 10-15 Minuten angehalten. Für die Beine angenehm. Manchmal an Stopps gehalten die gut waren, aber manchmal hätten wir lieber an anderen Aussichtspunkten gestoppt, die sehenswerter erschienen.
Die Kommunikation war leider etwas schwierig. Beispiel: Abholung war für 11 Uhr angekündigt, um 10:35 sollten wir spontan bereits mit dem Auto abgeholt und zum Bus gebracht werden, konnten wir aber auf 11 Uhr rauszögern.
Vor der Tour wollten wir einen 17 Uhr Bus buchen, davon wurde uns von dem Hotel abgeraten und wir sollen lieber den 19 Uhr Bus nehmen, da wir erst gegen 17 Uhr am letzten Tag zurück kämen. Wir waren dann schon um 15 Uhr zurück und durften bis 19 Uhr auf den Bus warten. ;)
Positiv: Wir konnten auf der Tour spontan von 3 auf 4 Tage verlängern – das war unkompliziert.
Ich bedanke mich bei meinem Fahrer, der vorsichtig und sicher gefahren ist. Habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. 5 🌟 für dich!
Insgesamt eine schöne Erfahrung mit Verbesserungspotenzial.

Een geweldige ervaring met de beste Easy Riders, Nga en Long, die je kunt wensen! Ondanks de vele toeristen brachten zij ons naar rustige plekken, adembenemende uitzichten en leuke uitstapjes! Dorpjes bezocht, op een vlot gevaren en zwemmen in een grot. Ze rijden heel relaxed en veilig! Ook de Homestays en de maaltijden waren prima. Dank!

Nous avons fait la loop en 2 jours et 1 nuit avec mes filles et mon conjoint. Dans la cinquantaine, c’est intense mais tout à fait faisable. Les routes sont globalement de bonne qualité, mais parfois étroites, avec des passages de gros camions. C’est risqué, mais les chauffeurs sont jeunes, responsables, discrets et très attentifs. Ils font régulièrement des arrêts pour que nous puissions profiter au maximum. Le point le plus négatif a été le homestay Pao My Ha Giang : draps en tissus épais, sales, non lavés, avec une forte odeur d’humidité et de sueur, malgré une nourriture correcte. On nous a aussi demandé d’aller nous coucher à 21h30 alors que nous échangions avec d’autres voyageurs. Le Lotus Hostel facture 6 % de frais pour l’utilisation de la carte Visa, contre 3 % dans le reste du pays. En revanche, les massages à l’hostel sont excellents : deux dames très sympathiques et extrêmement douées, qui ont fait disparaître toutes nos douleurs en 30 minutes. Malgré les risques, l’expérience vaut vraiment la peine et restera inoubliable.

Hieudog, Thai and Tien were absolute legends and made this trip so memorable. Not only were the views were incredible but their banter, good laughs, funny attitude and effort to make sure everyone had fun was next level. The Elite Crew: Hieudog (the Boss Man/Tour Leader), Thai, and Tien are legends. Their English is incredible—they’ve even been teaching themselves via Duolingo—and their communication is top-notch. • The Vibe: We constantly passed other tour groups who honestly looked jealous of the fun we were having. Whether you want to explore hidden gems, take professional-quality photos, or hit the best parties, they tailor the experience perfectly. • Safety & Comfort: My driver was exceptional. The bike was fast and exciting but I felt 100% safe and comfortable the entire time. Hieu was also incredibly diligent, constantly checking to make sure we hadn't lost any of our belongings. • Authentic Moments: We stayed at the best homestays and ate incredible dinners. My favorite memory was sitting around a fire in a local’s garden cafe, sipping egg coffee as the sun rose over the horizon. • The "Happy Water": Every day was a celebration! The group size was perfect, and between the "happy water" and the constant laughs, we became like a family. Final Verdict: HIEUDOG, THAI, and TIEN. Remember those names. I would pay these guys ten times over for the memories they gave us. They are professional, kind, and know exactly how to show you the heart of the country. Don’t settle for anyone else—these boys are the best in the business!

Unforgettable solo trip in Ha Giang
Ha Giang Loop was a unique experience and we would definitely do it again! We did a solo trip without a group, just rented a motorbike and stopped whenever we liked it. We got a tip to go the opposite way to avoid big crowds of bikes on the road. My husband said: going solo was the best decision! If you want to do the loop like we did, you'll need your driving license and international license (both!). The nature in the mountains is spectacular and people very welcoming.
