◊ DETAIL ITINERARY

DAY 01: HA GIANG – QUAN BA – LUNG KHUY – YEN MINH

  • Getting up this morning for the fresh air and enjoy the breakfast at our Lotus Group. Preparing all things ready with our guide & driver for the loop trip.
  • The Bac Sum Pass and Quan Ba Heaven Gate will greet us with their stunning landscapes. We will marvel at the Queen Bo Twin Mountains.
  • After having lunch at Tam Son town, you will trek to Lung Khuy Cave, which developed in the heart of limestone mountains formed under the ancient sea more than 400 million years ago. Around the cave is a landscape of vast clusters of peaks and valleys with many zones, pits, hanging valleys, and limestone shelves on a flat surface at an altitude of 850-1100m above sea level.
  • Continue the journey to Lung Tam silk village where we can admire and study the process of making brocade from flax plants by the local here.
  • Then, make your way through the Can Ty Pass. The landscapes are awe-inspiring and picturesque, with lush green hills and mountains towering over us.
  • Arrive at Yen Minh town late in the afternoon for checking in to a homestay. Having dinner with the “Happy Water” – Sunset Party with local people

DAY 02: YEN MINH – LUNG CU – MA PI LENG – NHO QUE – MEO VAC

  • Early breakfast then continue the journey to enter Dong Van Karst plateau Geopark for the discovery of all typically amazing beauties at.
  • Tham Ma pass – one of the most dangerous zigzag passes in Northern Vietnam
  • Heading up to the northernmost area of Vietnam nearby the border of China. Climming up to the Lung Cu National Flagpole (from the top of the Flagpole, we can see the border of China). Waking around the Lo Lo Cha village which is cultural & typial village of the ethnic people at the furthest northern Vietnam.
  • Having lunch at the local restaurant
  • Getting on the road to Dong Van ancient town for sightseeing and continue to the most beautiful part of the whole journey, located on the Happiness Road connecting the towns of Dong Van and Meo Vac. Ma Pi Leng pass – one of the most dangerous & hugest passes in the north of Vietnam.
  • Heading up on the small path of the “sky walk” to the rock ledge for the panorama views of the whole area. Reaching the beautiful Pa Vi H’mong village where we will check in the cozy homestay for dinner and night party time.

DAY 03: MEO VAC – ME PIA PASS – PAC BO RELIC

  • Breakfast time then depart from Pa Vi village, we go straight to Me Pia pass 14 floors of Cao Bang to admire the most beautiful and fancy pass in the whole journey (in order to have panoramic views, you have to climb up to the observation point about more than 1km).
  • Then stop at Bao Lac and have lunch then continue the journey again to the Pac Bo relic site. End the journey on the 3rd day at a homestay near Pac Bo relic site
  • (Day 3 is almost to move from Ha Giang to Cao Bang but still admire the natural beauty and the 14-storey pass).

DAY 04: PAC BO – LENIN STREAM – BAN GIOC – NGUOM NGAO

  • Starting a new day with breakfast at our local here then proceed to Lenin stream, Pac Bo cave with natural beauty Natural, peaceful, clear water of Lenin stream along with historical sites. The history of Pac Bo cave creates a familiar destination not to be missed.
  • Stop at Cao Bang town for lunch time
  • Continue with the journey to Ban Gioc waterfalls to feel one of the most beautiful, majestic and famous waterfalls in our Vietnam country.
  • Driving again to the Nguom Ngao cave which is about 3 km from Ban Gioc waterfall. Nguom Ngao Cave in the Tay language, means tiger. It still remains the wild beauty due to geological tectonics.
  • Rest at homestay near Ban Gioc waterfall with dinner & party time (evening light trekking to the waterfall to enjoy the scenery beauty of Ban Gioc waterfall when lit).

DAY 05: BAN GIOC – GOD’S EYE MOUNTAIN – CAO BANG CITY

  • Morning time for breakfast and check out of accommodation here. you will continue the journey again to Cao Bang City. End route with the sightseeing at:
  • Explore the ancient rock village of Khuoi Ky.
  • Thung Lung Nui Thung (Thung Mountain Valley or Eye of God Mountain).
  • Phuc Sen Blacksmith Village, known for its renowned blacksmithing craft and agricultural tools in Quang Uyen.
  • Around noontime to rest and lunch at a restaurant. Afterward, guests will return to our company’s office in Cao Bang City to relax and await transportation for your next journey.
  • Ending the journey and Say good bye here!

  • The check-point of Pho Cao village, this is quiet and stunning beautiful village which is similar to the “Swiss village” in Ha Giang loop.
  • Continue the journey again to northernmost area of Vietnam near by the border of China. DAY 03: MEO VAC – NHO QUE RIVER – MAU DUE – DU GIA

  • After having breakfast among the mountains & quiet villages then start our ride again down to Nho Que river. Boat trip for 01 hour to admire the Tu San canyon which is the deepest one of Asian countries.
    Lunch time at the local village
  • Then continue your journey to more distant villages. From there, you will see how people live in remote parts of Vietnam. You will ride through the villages of Sung Trai village, rice terraces of Sa Li, Lung Ho valley, Mau Due town for some beautiful check-points… Heading up to the bunker of France during the time of Vietnam under the French control.
  • Getting up to Du Gia village, where you will spend a night the typical stilt house of local H’Mong people here.
  • Party time and cozy night at Du Gia village!

DAY 04: DU GIA – LOCAL VILLAGES – HA GIANG CITY

  • Morning breakfast among quiet mountains then we will take a stroll around the village and hike to one of the nearby waterfalls – swimming at Du Gia waterfall. It is the amazing and enjoyable time to jump and swim at the beautiful waterfalls here.
  • After having lunch, we will depart back to Ha Giang city. Along the way, we will stop at some typical beautiful check-points of Thai An village, Thuan An slope and enter the power station of Thuan Hoa for studying and learning the function of this power factory.
  • At the end, we ride the journey again back to Ha Giang city around 16h00pm at our Lotus cozy group. You can take a free shower or relaxing at our pub here. End the trip!

  • Start the journey here to take you out of the city and enjoying the mountains views and the peaceful villages along the way.
  • Entering into the Dong Van Global Karst Plateau Geopark (the first Geopark in Vietnam) then stopping at the top of the Bac Sum slope that the first pass leading into the Geopark
  • Relaxing at Quan Ba Heaven Gate that is called the highest point with the 1500m above from the sea level. Short break with the great panoramic view to the mountains and admire the twin fair mountain.
  • Continue to Yen Minh Town for having lunch & short break here.
  • Hit on the road ahead to Sa Phin village, Tham Ma slope, 09 curves pass and moving forward to Dong Van town
  • Checking-in cozy room for shower and relaxing. It is free to walk for sightseeing around the town here. Having a dinner and enjoying local foods with fun & night party time at homestay.

DAY 02: DONG VAN – MA PI LENG – NHO QUE RIVER – HA GIANG

  • Having breakfast then leaving Dong Van Town for the most beautiful part of the whole journey, located on the Happiness Road connecting the towns of Dong Van and Meo Vac, Ma Pi Leng Pass.
  • The legendary pass is well known for its craggy cliffs and breathtaking views. It is the most rugged pass in the north. To show you the full beauty of the pass, you will trek the breathtaking Sky Path to admire the scenery of the whole Nho Que River.
  • Take a lunch break in Mau Due, before going back to Ha Giang city. Arrive in Ha Giang city around 6:30pm and end the tour.
