ITINERARY OF 05 DAYS LOOP DISCOVERY

DAY 01: HA GIANG – YEN MINH – QUAN BA – DONG VAN

  • Getting up this morning for the fresh air and enjoy the breakfast at our Lotus Group. Then preparing all things ready with our guide & driver for the loop trip.
  • Start the journey here to take you out of the city and enjoying the mountains views and the peaceful villages along the way.
  • Entering into the Dong Van Global Karst Plateau Geopark (the first Geopark in Vietnam) then stopping at the top of the Bac Sum slope that the first pass leading into the Geopark
  • Relaxing at Quan Ba Heaven Gate that is called the highest point with the 1500m above from the sea level. Getting a break with the great panoramic view to the mountains and admire the twin fair mountain.
  • Continue to Yen Minh Town for having lunch & short break here.
  • Continue the journey to hit on the road ahead to Sa Phin village, Tham Ma slope, 09 curves pass and moving forward to Dong Van town
  • Checking-in cozy room for shower and relaxing. It is free to walk for sightseeing around the town here. Having a Dinner and enjoying local foods with fun & night party time at homestay.

DAY 02: DONG VAN – LUNG CU – MA PI LENG – NHO QUE – MEO VAC

  • Breakfast time around 08h00am then continue to the northern top of the country, where the Lung Cu flagpole is located on the top of Long Son (dragon mountain), right above the ancient village of Lo Lo Chai where you will hear historical stories associated with Lung Cu ever since.
  • At around 12 noon, have lunch in Dong Van town!
  • The “Happiness” road leads us to the virtual living cliff – white cliff, for those who are adventurous, walking on the road where the white cliff is is an unforgettable experience. And then conquer one of the most majestic wonders, dubbed the “Four Great Peaks” – the legendary Ma Pi Leng.
  • Referring to Ma Pi Leng, it is indispensable for Nho Que river and Tu San canyon (the deepest in Southeast Asia) and off course we will visit those wonders by boat.
  • End this wonderful day at Pa Vi village around 17h30 pm to stay in the best homestay in Pa Vi Village.
  • Dinner time among amazing mountain views and fun time together at night!

DAY 03: MEO VAC – ME PIA PASS – PAC BO RELIC

  • After breakfast time then depart from Pa Vi village, we go straight to Me Pia pass 14 floors of Cao Bang to admire the most beautiful and fancy pass in the whole journey (in order to have panoramic views, you have to climb up to the observation point about more than 1km).
  • Then stop at Bao Lac and have lunch then continue the journey again to the Pac Bo relic site. End the journey on the 3rd day at a homestay near Pac Bo relic site
  • (Day 3 is almost to move from Ha Giang to Cao Bang but still admire the natural beauty and the 14-storey pass).

DAY 04: PAC BO – LENIN STREAM – BAN GIOC – NGUOM NGAO

  • Starting a new day with breakfast at our local here then you will proceed to Lenin stream, Pac Bo cave with natural beauty Natural, peaceful, clear water of Lenin stream along with historical sites. The history of Pac Bo cave creates a familiar destination not to be missed.
  • Stop at Cao Bang town for lunch time
  • Continue with the journey to Ban Gioc waterfalls to feel one of the most beautiful, majestic and famous waterfalls in our Vietnam country.
  • Riding again to the Nguom Ngao cave which is about 3 km from Ban Gioc waterfall. Nguom Ngao Cave in the Tay language, means tiger. It still remains the wild beauty due to geological tectonics.
  • Rest at homestay near Ban Gioc waterfall with dinner & party time (evening light trekking to the waterfall to enjoy the scenery beauty of Ban Gioc waterfall when lit).

DAY 05: BAN GIOC – GOD’S EYE MOUNTAIN – CAO BANG CITY

  • Morning time for breakfast and check out of accommodation here. you will continue the ride again to return to Cao Bang City. En route with the sightseeing at:
  • Explore the ancient rock village of Khuoi Ky.
  • Thung Lung Nui Thung (Thung Mountain Valley or Eye of God Mountain).
  • Phuc Sen Blacksmith Village, known for its renowned blacksmithing craft and agricultural tools in Quang Uyen.
  • Around noontime to rest and lunch at a restaurant. Afterward, guests will return to our company’s office in Cao Bang City to relax and await transportation for your next journey.
  • Ending the journey and Say good bye here!

ITINERARY OF 04 DAYS LOOP DISCOVERY

DAY 01: HA GIANG – QUAN BA – LUNG KHUY – YEN MINH 

  • After having breakfast, you will be briefed on the itinerary by your guide and get on the “open-air” car to start the “Ha Giang loop tour”. The Bac Sum Pass and Quan Ba Heaven Gate will greet us with their stunning landscapes. We will marvel at the Queen Bo Twin Mountains.
  • After having lunch at Tam Son town, you will trek to Lung Khuy Cave, which developed in the heart of limestone mountains formed under the ancient sea more than 400 million years ago. Around the cave is a landscape of vast clusters of peaks and valleys with many zones, pits, hanging valleys, and limestone shelves on a flat surface at an altitude of 850-1100m above sea level.
  • Then, make your way through the Can Ty Pass. The landscapes are awe-inspiring and picturesque, with lush green hills and mountains towering over us.
  • Arriving at Yen Minh town where you will check in to a homestay, have dinner and enjoy the delicious local foods here.

DAY 02: THAM MA – CHINESE BORDER – LUNG CU – DONG VAN

  • Local breakfast among the quiet village then continue the journey with our guide & car for sightseeing in Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark. During the visiting, you will stop at:
  • Tham Ma Pass (Tham Ma slope), one of the most dangerous zigzag passes in Northern Vietnam.
  • Visit the valley of Sa Phin, this is the wealthiest and most powerful family of Dong Van in the early 20th century
  • After lunch time then start to drive to northernmost area of Vietnam near by the border of China. Climbing up to the Lung Cu National Flagpole (from the top of the Flagpole, you can see the border of China).
  • Getting on the road back to Dong Van old town for checking in the nice accommodation then taking a walk around the Dong Van ancient town.
  • Enjoying the dinner time and fun time to walk around the Dong Van ancient town center here.

DAY 03: DONG VAN – MA PI LENG – NHO QUE RIVER – DU GIA

  • Having breakfast then leaving Dong Van Town for the most beautiful part of the whole journey, located on the Happiness Road connecting the towns of Dong Van and Meo Vac, Ma Pi Leng Pass.
  • The legendary pass is well known for its craggy cliffs and breathtaking views. It is the most rugged pass in the north. To show you the full beauty of the pass, you will trek the breathtaking Sky Path to admire the scenery of the whole Nho Que River.
  • Take a lunch break in Meo Vac, then continue your journey to more distant villages. From there, you will see how people live in remote parts of Vietnam. You will ride through the villages of Lung Ho, Mau Due to Du Gia town, where you will spend a cozy night with local delicious meal here.

DAY 04: DU GIA – LOCAL VILLAGES – HA GIANG CITY

  • Breakfast with the mountain view in the hills then start this day to visit Du Gia waterfall for swimming and water action here.
  • After the all, head back to Ha Giang city along the beautiful Hmong villages.
  • Visiting Lung Tam village where you can observe and learn how to make the Hemp weaving from the Hmong people. 
  • Having a lunch in Nam Dam village (the culture village of the Dao people).
  • Hitting the road again for 45km back to Ha Giang city.
  • Getting to the city viewpoint where you can have the panoramic view to the city (you can get the last beer/coffee with our team after the tour)
  • Reaching back to the city for having hot shower and relaxing by yourself.
